headed back to SA today with esther. was a v last min decision made. but i sure enjoyed myself. :) and it just so happens that we bumped into mdm chan in the caf! her reaction was one of visible surprise & shock. ditto for us. couldn't believe our luck. hehe. chatted with her for awhile in the caf. turns out she's counselling ppl at TJC & Fairfield. she seems to be enjoying herself a lot! and she looks much livelier & energetic! guess retirement's treating her quite well. :) after touring the sch, i've decided that i still like the Malan Rd campus more. i guess it's cause all our memories of SA r in that campus. i don't really feel an affinity with the new campus. but it was nice going back and breathing in the 'saints' air again. wanted to say hi to mrs tan(s), but one was out of the office & the other was on course. oh well. guess i'll have to go back again. i don't mind. i wanna eat the caf food again. caught sight of mr smith too. but we didn't really say hi cause he was invigilating an exam. will leave u guys with a nice photo i took of the sch's motto...

i've got henna on my left hand. just lovely. t'was a present for taking part in the Amazing Race today. :P had quite a lot of fun today. but i'm totally bushed! reached The Oriental at 8am this morning. had some briefings before starting the game. i think we really walked a lot today!

so yeah. that was the route for today. was perspiring so much too! the game ICs made us sing National Day songs and dance on the steps of the Old Supreme Court! and the Hippo Buses/Duck Tours Buses just had to drive by with lots of tourists in it. The guide in the bus even told the tourists to look at us. so yeah. we became the center of attraction. i guess they prolly found it v amusing. after all, it's not every day that u're treated to a sight like this.

got posted to Grand Copthorne Waterfront. it's not bad i guess, though i would rather prefer Fullerton. and i got the night shift! shucks. i want the morning one! but nooooo. the army ppl r v rigid! they don't wanna let us change over! grrr. the morning shift ppl want the night shift and vice versa. how ironic can this get? ahhh. i hope they'll let me swap duties for at least one day cause i wanna go for my k lesson! anw, the whole event's gonna be almost over by then. gotta apply for official leave from sch on mon as well. will be missing quite a few tests & presentations. wonder how the teachers will make up for it.

yay!! i've managed to get my hands on 8 of Jeon Do Yeon's movies. but i still cannot find The Promise (1998) with Park Shin Yang inside. :( it's out of stock on yesasia too!! i find that korean movies r v hard to find in SG! i only managed to buy You Are My Sunshine (2005) from Music Junction. i couldn't find the rest of her movies in the video stores at all! bought Untold Scandal,Happy End & The Contact from Yahoo! Auctions. and the rest, from yesasia. haha!! i'll have lots of stuff to watch. :D

wai shan just lent me Save The Last Dance. it's v nice! better than Kim Sam Soon. i got bored after watching the 1st epi of Kim Sam Soon. i'm gonna try to get my hands on Really Really Like You. seems quite interesting. haha. Pam ah.. u're gonna have lots of shows to watch too! :)

i was reading thru some of my posts dating wayyyyyy back to 2003. and as i read, i realised how much my thinking, my concerns & my life has changed. i mean, looking back, those issues that i used to care abt, don't even seem remotely important now. guess this is part of growing up. a part of me wishes so much to be back in JC. really miss the time and friendships that were forged there. div lessons in the pen room with mdm chan, having my morning prata with yvonne/weilin/esther in the caf, zapping 'model' essays in the student center, our container block classroom, econs lectures, lit lessons, maths lessons, heck, even GP lessons. i had so much fun, so many gd memories of SA. i've never regreted choosing that sch, though ironically, i didn't even want to go there in the first place. i still remember telling pam emphatically that i wouldn't choose SA no matter what. but God saw beyond everything & placed me there. i wonder what my life would have been like if i hadn't gone there. i guess i would have missed out on a LOT. definitely. having said that, i really miss SA now. esther chew, we HAVE to go back soon! i want to buy the new PE shirt. :) and visit mrs tan(s),smith,yoong & maybe koh. haha. too bad chan's gone. :( miss her nagging abt my handwriting. :P

was just reading janelle's blog abt her exchange and all and it so makes me feel like going for another one. 6 weeks is really too short. i believe that going on exchange is something everyone shd experience at least once! it really makes u change yr perspective on things. u get 2 see things from a diff viewpoint, learn to be more culturally & racially tolerant, learn NOT to speak in Singlish, learn to speak slowly so that the angmos can understand etc...

2nd week of sch's already over. time really flies. i really need to develop the photos that i took in HK. i'm supposed to mail them back to my friends in HK. it's been 3 weeks since i left & i haven't done so. oooops. :P and, u know what? i haven't cleared out the stuff from my luggage yet. it's still in my room. hahaha. see what a big procrastinator i am! at this rate, i think i can just leave it in my room in preparation for my next trip. don't have to keep in the storeroom already. :D

the aircon in the seminar rooms is sooooo cold! it's practically akin to a freezer. :( i think i'm gonna bring a much thicker sweater to sch from next week onwards. according to amy, her tutor told her that the sch actually arranged for the air con system to be cleaned during the 3 mth hols. that's y it's so cold now. bleah.

everyone headed over to LKF after dinner for clubbing... wasn't really my thing. so auntie dynna & me left at abt 140am. took a minibus over to Mongkok for supper before taking another minibus back to sch. :P i just love minibuses. they drive as if there are no brakes. so fun!! :D

bought 1 drama + 1 movie. shd arrive in 1 week! :D i <3 Park Sun Young!! she was great in 18 vs 29. looking forward to her in 101st Proposal. wanted to buy it when i was in HK so that i could collect in on the spot together with my other DVDs. but it wasn't out yet cause it was too new. but i guess what matters is that i'm getting my hands on it now! :P

can't wait can't wait!
