had my GP exam today. I think it was pretty terrible. =( did this essay question.
"These days,the term 'journalistic integrity' is a contradiction".Discuss.
well, i certainly hope i didn't screw up n pick the 'wrong' question like i did the last time. Having econs and maths tomorrow..hopefully, macroecons problems will come out in the case study instead of the essay. n let's pray that it will be easy! yeah, i know i'm dreaming.. bleah.

School Of Modern Levites.....
went for my very first day of sml.. finally got to see who willis is [ fyi: its that drummer whom janelle was obsessing abt on her blog.. ;)] he has that seh-ness n a pretty cool floppy hairstyle too. =)well, it was a pretty good session today. we really learnt a lot of things! eg: aug,dim,add6ths,sus2,sus4,d7,m6..... you name it, we have it. got susan choo as one of my instructors! forgot the other instructor's name though.. =P The keyboards they provided for us were great... all except mine! Only my keyboard had the headphones jack right in the middle of the keyboard! when i played, i had to keep brushing away the wire cause it interefered with my playing. Also, sometimes, i even had to 'pluck' it out cause it got stuck btw the keys! I'm so NOT going to sit at that place tomorrow. I was damn cold even though i had a long sleeved shirt on.. it felt like it was 10 degrees! i think i'll have to bring a sweater tomorrow.. sml was pretty inspiring. before the whole session started, we had a talk by pastor john koh n he talked abt us being modern levites n all.. then he showed us a short clip of 'Star Wars'[edited of course] it went something like that..

that was all i could remember.. but it was pretty funny. oh yeah, our instructor showed us another short clip too! it was abt this lady who was using a typewriter instead of a comp. her boss hinted that she should 'upgrade' herself n use a comp instead. so, the next scene shows her using a comp instead. but the thing was, she still thought that she was using a typewriter, n she used her hand to sweep the whole monitor away n it crashed onto the floor![ you know how you use a typewriter??] damn funny...i still crack up when i think abt it.. =P
Oh yeah, i got picked to play a song tomorrow.. n i don't really know how it goes!! going to malu myself...haiz.. must pray hard that everything goes smoothly tomorrow.. all for the glory of god! to be a true levitical worshipper n to be used mightily by Him!

shit..i just wasted $80 retaking the SATs. shouldn't have retaken it in the 1st place.maybe God's trying to tell me something? Well, he gives one results for a reason. Oh well... i know that he has a plan for me somewhere,somehow.

A study in student types
Late mugger
Desperately borrows lecture notes to photocopy. Forms study groups with the more hardworking species, hoping to obtain some easier methods of absorbing knowledge.
Slacker
Skims through the bare minimum. Doesn't know exam timetable. Doesn't even know there's such a thing in the first place. What's a seating allocation?
Perfectionist
Has brightly coloured notes and a huge collection of coloured markers and pens. Handwriting looks typewritten. Spends more time highlighting and labelling than studying.
Nerd
Always at least one tutorial ahead. Revises at least thrice. Writes out own notes. Never skips class.
Muncher
Self-explanatory. Food and drinks all around!
Loner
Prefers isolation. Plugged in to music to drown out surrounding noises. Stays up until very late hours.
45-minuter
Takes frequent breaks. Brings all sorts of distractions along, like poker cards, lap-top, storybook.

I HATE being sick.....
finally dragged myself to the doc on mon night after having a fever that just wouldn't go away since sat. to top it off, i had a sore throat + headaches, which meant tt i couldn't eat whatever i wanted and had to survive on porridge for the past 3 days.
i didn't feel like doing anything. i just slept n slept. i wasted so much time!
argh!!!!!!!!!!

Back From Festival Of Praise(FOP)!!
Mood:Exhilerated
I just can't find enough words to describe the awesome time i had at FOP. God's presence could be felt so strongly there. Really felt closer to God. Darlene n the Hillsongs team were fantastic! When they sing, its very obvious that they are singing for God, not for man. Awesome.... almost 3 solid hours of praise and worship. =) I sense the calling for me to serve in the music ministry is there,and its further evidenced by tonight's FOP. Anyway, i've signed up for the Sch Of Modern Levites Keyboard Track 1. can't wait for it! =) I've never felt that praise n worship was this good before. maybe cause my heart wasn't really in it.. but today, i actually sang with all my heart n soul. Gosh, i'm still feeling very hyped up. haha.
i know that this post may be kinda preachy, but ya, this is how i feel right now.. =) thought i would just share it with u guys.

darn it...i feel so lost w/o my digital camera..=( i want a new one! My Nikon 3700!!!! *pouts* the rain is coming down in torrents now and i can't go to the airport! have to wait for the rain to stop cause i don't want to bring out an umbrella. i just looked at the brochures for the PC show and the Nikon 3700 is goin for $549. so ex. i can get a brand new one for only $480. Maybe i'll just go and check out the Nikon 3700 and see if i like its functions and all before i decide on buying it.

the whole of singapore seems to be in a consipracy or something. always having sales just when i can't spend! =( April's in HK now...so jealous. I know i'm supposed to be studying, but i'm so into the holiday mood. =P maybe i shall make a list of what to do after the As. haha. Oh ya, i just remembered. I have SATs on sat! i haven't even started preparing yet.. whoops... oh well.. que sera sera, whatever will be will be.

poly student : yeaa!!! lets go sentosa again!! then shopping!! alright man! this is life!!!
jc student : yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! now i can finally have time to finish up my macroeconomic notes! this is lookin good man! *bliss*

This is soooooo unfair! mdm chan says that she's going to take our 2 lowest marks for each paper n use it as part of our Block Test 2 marks! unfair! unfair! unfair! We tried reasoning with her,but she started grinning away and said that she was being creative n original. And the worst part was that she looked very proud of herself!! Bleah. And Janelle, i don't blackmail u hor.... Anyway, the GSS is on! Everything's so super cheap! Aiyah... but i cannot buy anything. Must restrain myself. The stupid block tests are coming soon n i think my lit is going to be super sucky.. =( Oh yeah... i cleared my room of the year's worth of dust n grime! So damn proud of myself. I'm gonna sleep in a cleaner room tonight! =)
