i don't believe this. i spent $280+ on clothes for the mth of Jan!!! this is so not happening man. i think my shopping addiction is back in full force. the stuff that i sold only amts to $146. my clothes rail is groaning with the weight of the clothes on it. i need to curb my shopping addiction. somebody heeeelp me!
why do hols just fly by so fast?! i don't see the sch term going by that quickly. :( 3 tutorials + readings to do by thurs. i'm still in the holiday mood though. can't really see myself sitting down at the table going thru tons of readings. even though it has to be done. i'm now eagerly anticipating my next hols which will be in 2 weeks time. hah. that's the gd part abt uni. our hols are much earlier than the rest. :P
i've watched like 16 episodes of Life Made Simple in 2 days. haah. and i'm v irritated with Ah Wong. i think he's much better in Square Pegs. watch it and u'll understand!
parents are going to my 1st & 2nd uncle's house. but i can't go cause i need to complete my work. bleah. hope that they'll give me red packets even though i'm not there. haha. :)

a quick one before watching TV...
thanks ade for reminding me that our Daddy God is always there for us. He'll never fail us no matter what our problem is. thank God for Ps Prince, for even opening our eyes up to the fact that fellowship is impt. thanks ade for being there for me & giving me gr8 advice. :) felt so much better after talking to u. :) CG ppl are really v impt in our lives. we must not take them for granted! :)

Love Concierge is getting better & better! haha. can't wait till Ruyi & Jiekuan get together. some ppl do prefer Lance to be with Ruyi, but i disagree. i still think that Jiekuan is the best. :) He may seem wishy-washy,but when it comes right down to it, he is still able to be decisive. Actually, i think that Ruyi is pretty much at fault too. i can't believe that she's so naive to believe Ruqing. It's pretty obvious that Ruqing is only after Jiekuan for his money. the whole world can see that. but why not her?!? she's even able to give away her boyfriend just like that!! but at least Ruyi & Jiekuan will be together. otherwise, i think a lot of ppl are going to be even more pissed. haha. if i were Ruyi, i will definitely choose Jiekuan over Lance too. Jiekuan is much sweeter than Lance imo.. it's the little things that he does. :) Ann Kok has succeeded in making everyone dislike her character. hah. let's see if it'll garner her a nomination at this year's star awards.
3 tutorials tomorrow.. :( i'm supposed to be in bed now. gotta wake up at 630 tomorrow. but i'm not really that tired cause i slept in the afternoon.
anyway, triumvirs, can we go Sumiyaki to eat?? i wanna try the gumiyaki(beef with cheese in it) there!!! do say yes!!! :D
and.. my next destination is gonna be Japan with mickey & pam! u guys gotta save hard! :) my job at Asian Aerospace will help to contribute towards my 'Japan" fund! yeah! :)

so they say.... clothes maketh the woman
been rushing here & there in a bid to get clothes for CNY. not that i don't have enough already. it's a girl thing. :) much thanks & love to esther for being my companion on trips like these. although she seems to have bought more than me. :P yesterday was spent covering half of singapore. orchard --> bugis --> parkway --> bedok. it was only when the clock struck 940 did we retire to go home. singapore isn't at it's best when it's crowded. i don't fancy squeezing thru crowds of sticky & smelly ppl to get to what i want. it's times like these when i wish that singapore was a little bigger. the incessant rain & lousy bus driver didn't help either.
finally bought my Topshop top @ Wisma today. pretty pleased with my purchase. :) Forever 21 has some lovely jeans in at an affordable price. too bad the sizes are all either M or XL. :( good things get snapped up quickly.
IT presentation tomorrow. mustn't be late! so off to sleep i go.

ok.. i know i'm slow. but..... i like Corrinne May! haha. :P too bad her concert @ UCC is sold out. :( the tix is pretty cheap too. oh well. guess i'll have to wait for her next concert then.

i want to go down to BV again!! i'm kinda pissed after missing out on my $10 shoes! :( God, pls reserve a nice pair for me the next time i go ok.. :) i want to buy more accessories. starting to fall in love with them. but the problem is, i'm not really sure what looks gd on me & what doesn't. so.. yeah. i need help. and i'm planning a trip down to chinatown too. cause Pam's friend has a makeshift store there till CNY. she has stuff from BKK & HK on sale!! :) and i want to get a top from Topshop as well. i planned to go down today with Wai Shan. but i was just too tired after lessons today. so plans have to be shelved for the time being. at least until i'm free to go down.

Plugged Into:Beethoven - Symphony No. 3 in E Flat Minor,Op.55 "Eroica"
music elective was fun!! haha. the text tt we're using is exactly the same as those who take/took MEP at O Level. the syllabus is practically much the same, but it's easier! cause they don't really go into detail. this elective is meant for those who don't know anything abt music, but who want to know more abt it. but of course.... u have ppl like me, who took music before. ahaha.. :P i'm like super happy. it's kinda like a revision for me too. thank God i didn't throw away my O level music notes.. time to resurrect them. :) i'm planning to do my project on Beethoven too. cause i studied him for my Os.. haha. so just copy & paste! :)

on tutors....
had my first tutorials of the sem today. was pretty interesting in the sense that i've never had a full day in sch with just tutorials to attend only. my acc tutor is pretty gd. the qns that she asks are really thought provoking & she has a sense of humour too. my biz law tutor speaks in a funny accent & is v humourous. but i don't really like the way he goes thru our tutorial qns. but he was quite nice cause he treated us to sweets from france!! haha. that's one redeeming factor. let's see how it goes next week. and... i love my econs tutor!! he ended like in 1 hr! haha. and he's the only tutor w/o any demands from us. haha. that's the mark of a successful tutorial! :) right waishan?? :P

and so... sch has started once again. i have something to do again! hah. anyway, i'm kinda pissed that they changed the textbooks for my modules last sem. this means that i can't sell them off to those acct/biz ppl in grp B! :( textbooks are v ex! what's more, we have to buy new ones every sem! i spent $136 on textbooks alone this sem! urgh.
biz law lect was a total waste of time yesterday. the lecturer was practically reading out from the lect notes. my IT sem started at 830 in the morning & ended at 1050. i waited till 430 for the biz law lect!! i'm so tempted not to go for any more biz law lects. i'll probably not go for the next one. when valerie low takes over in lect 4, i'll probably go to see how it's like.
lots of readings to do for all my subjects! acc 2 is tough.. :( at least i managed to complete all my tutorials. haha. i didn't even do this last sem. i remember only doing my acc 1 tutorials. :P i think most of us are more hardworking now. 1 sem into uni & we're wiser. :) but there's lots to do!! my 3 day week has now become a 4 day week cause of my music elective. i hope it's gonna be interesting. :)
and now... my big plans for my next trip. i wanna go Japan again!! but i dunno when i'll be able to save up enough to go. i think i need at least 2K. Esther & Pam both want to go too! yay! :)
and.. i've found a student to give tuition to! more $$!!! :)
and.. have u realised that i've started my paragraphs with 'and' 4 times???

i never realised how different beliefs could affect a person so much. Just one sentence & it's enough to make you start questioning your beliefs. Perhaps it's because i don't really believe in it as much i would like to. I questioned myself & questioned God. Why? why? why? Are they right after all? God replied:" I will never leave you nor forsake you..". after which, such a feeling of unexplainable peace came over me. He is and will always be right by our side. Just continue to trust in Him & follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit. The answer to my questions was in me all along. If only i had stopped & quietened my heart..
