went to K-Box yesterday with Sean. had to bribe him to go along with me. it was very expensive! no one to go K-Box with me. sad. Esther is in the midst of her exams, Pam is doing her internship & Wai Shan already made plans for the day. so i had to go with Sean. anyway, we were tickled by the 'gai dai foon hei' MTV with Twins & Nancy Sit. haha. u shd go watch it. :P

my Dec weekends are like totally full! but my weekdays are soooo free! i'm quite bored at home. was talking to Adelene just now, entertaining her till her 9pm show starts. haha. and we're going shopping on Thurs!!! yay! and it's Bible Study after that! :) K-Box with Pam & Wai Shan on sun!!! whee.... so exciting. :)

i'm still debating if i shd go for the christmas party @ Orchard on the 25th of Dec. doesn't seem like a lot of ppl will be going. Adelene told me that it wasn't really fun last year. so yeah. i'm still considering. can't wait for Eucharistia on the 17th of Dec!! bet it's gonna be fun!!

anyway, was having supper with sean just now. the pizza tasted super disgusting. know why? sean put tomato puree on the pizza instead of pizza sauce. we thought that the cheese had gone bad or something. it was only upon closer examination of the pizza sauce bottle did we realise that my dad had actually put tomato puree into the bottle instead. yucks.. still can't get the taste out of my mouth.

got back from SITEX not too long ago. i'm bushed! sales is a very very very tiring job! for those who don't know, i was working for the company PLUTO. If you guys have never heard of it before, i don't really blame you. That's cause it's a local company and they only supply to corporate customers & to the goverment. Cause it's kinda low profile, it was really a challenge to sell the PCs. And that's not all. I don't get a basic pay, but only commision. which means that my pay is dependent on the amt of PCs that i sell. but it was a good experience on the whole. got to know quite a lot of ppl. :) haha. and sales really makes u do things that you won't normally do. you really work and go all out to pull customers over to your booth etc. i would go over with my colleagues to either the Dell or Compaq booth and poach ppl from there. While the customers were looking at the PCs there, we would just interupt them, asking if they needed PCs. then we would lead them over to our booth instead. :P the Dell ppl got kinda pissed off with us. but.... haha. survival of the fittest. also, we were selling Lord Of The Rings games. so i was like shouting and walking all over the place.. managed to sell 4 games. :) Esther said that i was irritating ppl. :P she was there, so she can testify to it. i kept repeating the same stuff over and over again. sounded a lot like a broken tape recorder. i wasn't really thinking abt what i was saying. Do you know that i actually asked ppl if they wanted a Dell PC/Lord Of The Rings PC when i was selling Pluto Intel PCs?!?!?! this is what happens when you don't think before you speak. i even called a lady 'Sir' instead of 'Mam'..

my colleagues were quite nice la. i know esther likes the 15 yr old guy.. haah. but he's kinda irritating at times. keeps saying that we're pimping and he likes to call ppl bitch. grrrrr..

i bought my 256Mb SD card for $28 & a pair of portable speakers for only $15.. ahaha. i got a special price cause i'm working there. here's a picture of the speakers.

can bring it to HK. ahaha. the quality is pretty gd! :)

and so yet another week has passed. time sure flies. managed to take my flu jab last night. thank God for it. my dad was calling up various clinics & even TTSH to check if they had the flu vaccine in stock, but to no avail. my mum suggested that i call up my cousin to check if her clinic had an additional flu vaccine to spare. :) aside from a sore arm, i feel perfectly fine today. :) work tomorrow at SITEX. will be out for the whole day. Old Navy part 1 has arrived in SG. :) yay! i think Old Navy part 2 is scheduled to arrive next week. Victoria's Secret is at Vpost USA right now, waiting to be processed. i think it should arrive in like 2 more weeks. also, i've placed an order for an AE wallet cause my current wallet is falling apart. i really must cut down on online shopping. i seem to have bought a lot of things in the space of 1 mth. :P

and Esther, i'm not handing over the photos. haha. that's y they're called blackmail photos. :P go figure. anyway, Grace is pretty insistent on sitting with u on the plane. tried to dissuade her but....

anyway, i'm supposed to register for next sem's subjects on the 30th of Dec! that's when i'm in HK! how???? sheesh. i'll have to stop my shopping halfway to go back to the hotel or some internet cafe to register. Also, this means that my exam results are gonna be out soon! the class schedule will be up on 8th Dec. hope that i'll get my 3 day week. :P i'm still debating if i should take an elective next sem cause it seems like my core modules are pretty heavy. Forensic Sci is not offered next sem either. i guess i'll probably take music or a language... let's see if it fits in nicely with my timetable. :P

what have i been doing ever since i was liberated from the pressure of exams?? haha. plenty! been going out almost everyday. :P went for a K-Box session with Waishan on Thurs at Cineleisure before watching Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire. the movie was so-so only cause they cut out a lot of parts! :( i jumped in my seat a couple of times cause some parts were kinda freaky. K-Box was fun! :) the TWINS song was cute. :P can't wait to go again, this time with Pam included. :)

Friday was Grace's orientation at her kindergarden, which incidentally happens to be mine as well. The sch bus uncle still recognises my mum. haha. :) and his licence plate number still hasn't changed yet.. after all these years. My parents told me that after i came back from kindergarden on the 1st day, i told them abt the licence plate number. and guess what? it was the 1st prize for TOTO.. haha. but they didn't buy la.. so this time, Grace is going to kindergarden. wonder if the same thing will happen again. :P went to PS after that cause i wanted to take a look at the Little Match Girl's sale. All tops were going for $10 and bottoms for $15! unfortunately, most of them were Ms & Ls. :( and they all happened to be the designs that i liked! oh well, at least i can save more $$. My mum, aunt & cousin ended up buying instead of me. but at least i bought 3 bottles of nail polish and 1 peach yogurt mask from The Face Shop, so i didn't come back empty-handed. :) The nail polish was really cheap! $2.50 for 1 rather large bottle! the shades are nice as well! the silver shade was just what i was looking for to replace my old one. :)

and yes, i'm going out again later.. but this time for product training in preparation for my job next week. no shopping.. for now. :P i've drawn up a rough plan for HK.. can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!! :)

i'm tired of studying FM.. was talking to waishan last night and we concluded that our FM prof is quite lazy. He hasn't changed/reviewed his notes in eons! He just reuses them every sem. He also refuses to return the tests that we took to us cause he's afraid that we will pass it to other ppl. Then, he will have to come up with new questions again. He's probably more interested in his 'Food Junction' shares & his cat. and, waishan told me that her friend from another sem didn't have the Hamada Equation & CML in her notes! In fact, the Hamada Equation isn't even in the textbook! i really wonder how much of what is in the notes is goin to come out tomorrow. The MCQs are like super duper hard! it's damn depressing... the short answer questions are easier. can't wait for the darn exams to be over...

i've spent/going to spend a lot! just bought a pair of white peep toe heels online for $21. :P planning to buy a couple of tees from Aeropostale as well.. :) i love eBay!! :) oh.... i'm gonna 'cheong k' with waishan on thurs!! haha. we're going to the cineleisure one cause waishan says that the food there is nicer. let's hope that they'll have the songs that i want. :)

my former company msg-ed me yesterday asking me if i want to go back to work for them during the hols. more $$!! it's really God's grace. i was looking ard for a couple of jobs & even sent in my resume, but to no avail. but just when i gave up, God sent a job across my path. and i didn't even have to use my own effort to get it! looking back, my life has been full of blessings from God, just that i didn't notice. trust God and he'll come through for u! :)

and i like Josh Groban!!! :) his songs are darn nice!

AA101 is over!!!! yeah! :) i'm glad that cash flow statement came out cause i'm better at it. gotta go down for OB & D later.. the exam hall was like a freezer yesterday. i think i'm gonna bring a thicker jacket to sch today. and... the most important thing! i must not drink water before the exam! halfway during the exam, i had a sudden urge to go to the toilet. but i didn't cause i was worried that i wouldn't be able to complete my paper. so i ended up controlling my bladder for like 1.5hrs... once the paper ended, i passed my stuff to Yvonne and dashed to the toilet straightaway... i was the 1st person there too!! :)

can't wait for the exams to end.... Great plans i have. :)

my 1st paper is on mon. i realised that the stress of exams coupled with the need to shop is weighing down on me. so guess what? i spent like quite a lot on Old Navy stuff. This is not good... i need to save up for HK! urgh. i bought like 2 V-Neck tees.. cause they were so cheap. USD$3.99 each. 1 Ribbed Turtleneck & 1 Layered Tee... but shopping seems theraputic somehow.. :) oh yeah, i bought Darlene's new CD,Change Your World & Norah Jones's Come Away With Me. i guess u can estimate how much i've spent lately.. i need to study! not shop online! can't wait for my ON Tweed Mini to come in the mail next week. :)

have decided to stay home from the airport today. spent my morning surfing the Old Navy website. they have lots of nice winter wear!!! haha. tempted to buy a nice peacoat from them. but Waishan told me that HK has like lots and lots of nicer stuff!! can't wait. :P ordered a canvas peacoat & a ribbed turtleneck from them instead. hope that the canvas peacoat won't go OOS. :) but even if it does, i can save my $$.

it's already wednesday! gosh. time flies.... 5 more days to my AA101 exam. i'm so tempted to hop onto 38 & go to the Expo for the Metro Warehouse Sales! i've been studying at the airport & i find that i can concentrate so much better there. I always get tempted to use the computer or sleep when i'm at home. it's abt 12.42 now... wondering if i shd go down today. but i know that if i don't go down, i will not get any work done. even as i'm typing this, i'm so tempted to catch some shut-eye. jazzy music has that effect on me. :)

hm... what shd i study later on..... maybe Stats. i still have 1 more chapter to go. i didn't manage to complete it that night. :( hm... or shd i read OB&D? i'm more familiar with the later chapters cause i had to read it for my project. the 1st few chapters seem like a fuzzy memory to me... anyway, i still have abt 2 days after my OB to study Stats. hm.... maybe i'll study OB today then.

i pray that i'll be able to remember all that i've studied for AA101.. esp how to draw up income statements,balance sheets & the statement of cash flows(indirect & direct)! God's grace is upon me & i believe that i'll be able to do it! :)
