goodness.. i'm so like super bored at work. i know it's a super slack job & all, but still, entering data into the system gets so routine & mundane after a while. esp since i've been doing it for almost 2 mths! Not even internet access & music helps! There's only so much surfing one can do on the internet. unless, i play games.. now that would be a different story. i'm tempted to start playing Neopets again. haah. kinda outgrew it eons ago. but since i'm soooo super bored, i may just consider playing it again. anw, i've lots of neopoints.. haha. can reopen my 'shop' in there. plus, i've lots of rare items.;) but i'm kinda out of touch already. haven't played for almost 4 yrs!
well, esther's having her tung ling graduation later. Pam,Debbie & I are going. too bad i forgot to bring my camera. otherwise i can take some photos of & for esther.. right esther? ;) haah.. private joke. anw, hope that it'll be interesting later on.
should i stay in hall a not? i was quite set on staying initially, but after hearing what most of my seniors & friends have to say abt it, i'm kinda wavering in my decision. the cons seem to outweigh the pros though. tough decision to make! can't wait for sch to start! hope that i'll get a gd timetable & that i'll only take econs in sem 2.
feeling kinda apprehensive abt uni. i've heard that one doesn't make that many close friends. sure, you'll have friends, but will they be as close as yr JC friends? after all, most of our classes are split so we'll probably meet diff ppl all the time. at least xin yi,cynthia & adelene are in my course. :) the whole uni modular system is like so super confusing. i still don't get it! i heard that NTU acct ppl are super muggers! i guess that's probably cause everyone's fighting to get honours. when i went for the tea session, one of the seniors told us that if we get a C in any of our modules, we'll not be eligible to graduate with first class honours! looks like every single grade is gonna count here. can't slack anymore & make up for it with last min work. :(
still have abt 5 more weeks before i stop working.. i'll be free in july! ~yay~ no more $$, but i'll have freedom! i've had enough of the working life already. after all, i'll get to start work earlier than my friends cause mine's a 3 yr course. most of their courses take 4 yrs to complete. hope that we'll all still keep in touch even though we are gonna end up in diff unis. Eunice's going to Uni of New South Wales to pursue a degree in law & lit. i sure will miss her. Esther's gonna go to SMU to be a smugger..haha. :P let's hope that both of us will get to go on exchange together ya?? :)

i hate mosquitoes! i've gotten like 10+ mosquito bites in the past hr!~ grrrr.. it's so itchy! can't imagine what's it's gonna be like when i stay in hall. i'm seriously reconsidering my decision now. church was fantastic today! :) esp loved the ending "Star Wars" clip. went shopping with Pam after that. i really miss SA a lot!! miss the times when we pon-ed maths lecture so that we could have more breaks, how we avoided certain teachers cause we pon-ed their lessons, the food in the caf, the div room & finally, the stinky container block E which houses our homeroom.

i wanna go shopping! haha. need lots of clothes desperately. i'm planning to clear out my closet tonight. my mum keeps saying that i've lots of clothes & thus, i shd not buy any more. hah. but the truth is, most of the clothes in my closet are either too small or they just can't be worn anymore. i think i need more tops. i've plenty of bottoms already. Pam says that she'll probably be going to bangkok with chris & nicole in july. :( i wanna go on holiday too!!!! too bad sch's starting soon. gonna be busy again. hope uni will be fun & pray that i'll be able to handle the workload.
i've lots of ppl to meet before sch starts. too bad most of schedules don't match. oh well.. i'll be stopping work at the end of june. hopefully i will be able to meet up with them then.
Pam told me that JB was super fun. they went to 'cheong k' too. Apparently there's a NEWAY in City Square in JB. It's the same as the HK one. & the best part? it only costs RM$9 for 2 hours + of entertainment & food!! sounds damn good. i wanna go too. ;) i'll probably drag esther along too. she keeps telling me abt how she needs retail therapy.. this will be a gd chance for her to do her shopping.. :)

wow... i haven't blogged for almost a week! i'm pretty happy with my purchases that i got when i went out with Pam last Sun. bought a white leather tote from littlematchgirl & a cordoroy skirt from bugis village. :) i've lots of other stuff that i wanna get before uni starts. meeting Pam & Esther this sat for lunch(prob) at Spaghettis! yum!~
i wanna change my phone. it's totally screwed up. there seems to be something wrong with the reception. ppl can't hear me when they call me sometimes. i've got my eye on the Samsung X640C. :) i'm just waiting for the prices to drop. :P
Work has been pretty much the same lately. not much diff. i'm just sitting in front of the comp keying data everyday. after this job, i'm never ever gonna touch excel again! it's pretty much murder to my eyes!

isn't it interesting how you always end up somewhere which you never intended to go? it may not be true for everyone, but it sure is for me. Never in a million yrs did I expect to be doing acct in NTU of all things. i always saw myself taking the more conventional[safer perhaps?] route. When i first stepped into SAJC, the first thing that greeted me was the sign outside the general office that reads "We believe that: No One Is Here By Chance". It struck a chord in me, esp since i didn't want to go to SAJC. But, by faith , i stayed on, believing that God's plan was for me to be there. And sure enough, i was greatly blessed by HIM in my 2 yrs there. I made lots of friends, most of which will remain with me throughout my life. I can safely say that i've never regretted going to SAJC. Similarly, as i'm gonna embark on my journey in NTU, i have no idea what the future will hold for me. But, i'm confident that God will bring me through for HE has placed me there. As long as we do what God wants us to do, we'll surely be blessed, for HIS ways are higher than our ways.

well well. the hi tea has come & gone & i've made up my mind already. I'm going to NTU!! i found out from Xin Yi that practically half the class is going to NTU, so i'll have company. :P i think Esther's the only one who's going to SMU. i'm still debating if i should stay in hall for the 1st yr. all the comforts of home will be absent, but yet, i'll get to experience living on my own for the 1st time. real tough choice to make. NTU is the 1st uni to start sch in July, almost a whole mth before SMU! can't wait for sch to begin though. i've had enough of the working life. :P i'll finally get to use all my nice coloured pens,highlighters etc again!! not to mention the fact that i'll be getting my Apple Powerbook!! yippee!
i need to stock up on clothes before sch term starts. no more sch uniforms for me. so i've to plan what i've to wear in advance. :(

Back at work now. :) There's opportunity cost if i don't go to work. $56 a day!!
just surfed over to jiun pey's blog. i just found out that she does blog regularly. it's just that i didn't know that i was supposed to click on the pictures to view her entries. And here i was, thinking that she just created another stagnant blog. :P Anyway, congrats on getting in to NTU ya?? :) if i choose NTU eventually, don't forget hor, we're gonna be roomies!! :)
i've been cheated of my pay!! i got $60+ lesser than what i was entitled to. grrrrr. this makes me so mad. gonna call up the agency and demand an explaination.

went out with Pam & Kah Man today.. managed to get Hacken Lee's Smart I.D & Acrobats Special Edition cheaply!! haha. Smart I.D only cost $12.90 while Acrobats cost $14.90. :) can't wait for my other CDs from yesasia to arrive! Not forgetting my Birkenstocks, which are due anytime this week!!! i'm a happy happy girl!!! :)
Service yest was pretty gd. Pastor talked abt servanthood, which i feel is very relevant to the church today. its a pity that many ppl either neglect it or choose to ignore it.
gotta go for some hi-tea session at NTU next sun. hm.. i feel more inclined towards SMU though. i like the fact that i'll be able to take a 2nd major & get to go on exchange there as well. :) The NTU website's pretty unhelpful. I can't even check out which modules i'll be studying etc. Well, i guess the tea session should ans most, if not all of my queries. Hopefully, i'll be able to decide which uni i shd go to after that.
