WS & I were discussing the various plots of dramas & we realised that no one has ever made a show that focuses on the accounting profession. ( disclaimer:if there is, we haven't watched it) i mean, u have medical shows (eg: healing hands 1,2,3), legal shows (eg: survivor's law 1,2), police shows (detective investigation files 1,2,3,4), forensic science shows( forensic heroes, untraceable evidence 1,2) & teacher shows ( shine on you). absolutely NONE abt accountancy or accountants at all! i guess they can't find any interesting aspect of the profession to come up with a show abt it.

well, i guess an accountancy focused show would go something like that....

ep1: main male lead gets tasked to audit a company all the way in __________( insert: any ulu place u can think of) & is dreading it.
ep2: main male lead heads over to the company with his audit team & starts to audit the FS for the year. however, horror of horrors, the staff there are extremely uncooperative, refusing to hand over the supporting documents! to make matters worse, they can't get a cab out as no cab driver's willing to drive to such an ulu place!!

ep3: highlight of the day was being able to balance all the figures after a long & arduous week. they decide to celebrate @ Harry's.

ep4: boss tells them that something was wrong with the software, thus all their work will have to be redone AGAIN. groans @ the thought of seeing all those substantive tests all over again.

yeah... and the list can continue. but not a very interesting plot isit? compared to fighting cases in court, chasing the baddies down the street as well as teaching naughty kids who don't want to be taught. haha.

if they ever do make a accountancy show, i wonder how would the public respond to it....

a post to close off 2007 & usher in 2008. 2007 was good, but 2008 is gonna be even better!! :) am looking forward to it. loads of changes to get used to, for one. will be working PT @ the airport as well due to my uber slack timetable. hur hur.

big thanks to pam,JT,JP & WT for the perfume + F21 $50 voucher. 사랑해요!! :) will post up pictures of our gathering soon. ;)

results were great. quite unexpected for some. but all glory to God. only He could have done it. its a miracle. hah. finally got my honours, so i'm extremely thankful for that. audit was one big miracle. i flunked my mid terms with a solid F but yet God blessed me with an A- at the end. all i can say is, thank YOU, daddy God for seeing me through even though it was a v busy & xiong sem with loads of things to juggle. He never fails.

this week's gonna be busy even though work @ CLSA finally ended. airport job on 3rd, placement test on 2nd, beauty world on 4th & HK on the 6th!!

us!

and i just checked the weather forecast for HK in the coming week. it's gonna be cold cold cold!! yippeee!!!!!! :D :D

went skating with some of the cluster ppl @ Kallang Leisure after service. really enjoyed myself & got to know the others much better. right pris?? ;) hehe. issac was hilarious on the ice. i felt as if i was watching an acrobatic performance instead of someone ice skating. but i have to say, he's really brave. he's not afraid of falling down at all!! but but but. he's a skating hazard! i can't stand seeing him skate near me. really makes me afraid of falling. wait till the rest upload the pictures on multiply. i'll post them here then. and i found out that yvonne knows pamelia cause they were both from kong hwa! what a small world! everyone's like interconnected.

pris, joanna & me had our mini 'adventure' camp en route to the bus stop after skating. it was raining & the roads had plenty of small puddles here and there. didn't help that the road was closed off due to the Circle Line construction. so we happily took a 'short cut' thru the tennis courts, only to find out that to get to the bus stop, we had to cross this grassy patch which was super wet!! ended up with super wet jeans, soaked slippers( my new ON pair!!! :( ) but a interesting experience i suppose. hur hur hur. thank God for no mud!

Cluster christmas party on the 26th @ Cat's place!!! u guys better go k!! don't pang seh me!!!! :D

just got myself started on a new drama, 못된 사랑 aka Bad Love. totally love it. Kwon Sang Woo is like super hot in here. the story's moving pretty fast too. loads of action in every single episode! when 지선생님 heard that i was watching it, she got super excited n started hitting me. haha. apparently she caught the 1st 2 episodes when she went back to korea. n i got over excited and said that kwon sang woo was 맛있어요(delicious) instead of 멋있어요(handsome). just a slight slip of the tongue, but what a difference it makes! the OST is really really nice too.. hehe. so many lovely shows to watch. have New Heart staring Ji Sung to watch as well as Lee Da Hae's new drama, Robbers airing on the 26th of Dec. happy i am!! :D

dance was pretty fun. need to practice more though. esp since we won't have class for 3 weeks due to the hols + my trip overseas.

ice skating tomorrow!! yay!!
