stuck in hk airport..

my flight back to s'pore just got delayed cause of some technical error. oh well. i guess its better to wait then to take an unsafe flight. i'll be reaching s'pore ard 2am on sat now.. anyway, had a real fun time in hk. everything was super super cheap!! i mean, each shirt was only ard HK$10-20!! can u believe it? u can't even get this kind of pricing in s'pore. i'm never gonna shop in s'pore ever again. not worth it at all. the esprit warehouse outlet in hk was super fantastic too. some of the designs can't even be found in s'pore!! can't wait to get back to s'pore.. lots of new clothes! i was so worried that i'ld have to pay for excess baggage. luckily it was only ard 17kg++.. pamelia had an excess of 2kg. luckily we coulldd combine the weight allowance..otherwise i think she would have to pay quite a bit. haha. i'm gonna miss hk. everything has been great. the food, the weather, the ppl etc... before leaving for the airport today, we went to NEWAY to cheong k[sing karaoke]..super cheap man. only ard HK$35 per person inclusive of drink n food! 2 solid hours of entertainment. when can u get this in s'pore??? the only bad thing abt hk that i can find is that everyone seems to like smoking a lot! the shopping centres etc are all terribly smokey. and we had to climb up n down to the MTR station all the timee. they seem to like to save electricity a lot! very tiring. esp so cause their MTR station is so much more larger than s'pore.. hm..its ard 8++ soon.. gotta go in soon... will update more when i get back..

hk hk hk.in a shopping center in mongkok now.

haha..this is so damn cool... i'm blogging with a wonderful computer that i found in a shopping center. i tell u,singapore should have these type of facilities.. the food is great, the shopping is great..what more can i say. esther n i stumbled on this great place in mongkok which is like super super cheap!!!! anyway, the weather is super wonderful.. its pretty cold too.. woo..this is like my 3rd night here already. bought lots of stuff for my friends already. :) pam's is in lan kwai fong now.. we didn't want to go so we wandered around on our own and we were rewarded.. wahahaha. this is great man. will post more when i get back..

one more paper, 3 more hours

i can't believe that it's almost over. it seems almost like yesterday when i first started my jc education. now?? i'm sitting for my a levels which is ending soon. i only have lit paper 5 left. div today was pretty ok. hopefully it will be able to pull up my paper 2 marks. wonder how div is marked. do they have a bell curve for it? hm... really pray that i'll be able to get into NUS Law Fac next year. however, admission is pretty competitive. plenty of rj n hc ppl will definitely apply. in fact, i heard that half of law fac's made up of rj ppl. oh well, if i can't get in, guess i'll apply for SMU Acct instead.

i'm looking forward to the hols.. imagine. 7 mths with no sch. total bliss. no more assignments to hand in, and no more econs lectures to fall asleep in. haha. but i'll miss mdm chan though, no matter how grouchy she may get sometimes. haha. =p my room's pretty tidy now,esp cause i have only 1 paper left. i can see my floor again! *cheers* i think i'll throw again most of my notes, but i'll keep my div notes for sentimental value. sayonara to econs,maths n lit. hah. oh yeah, gotta go back to sch on the 13th of dec to collect my testimonial. wonder what bb wrote. hopefully he doesn't say anything abt my latecoming..esp after block test 2.

i've got lots of nice books to read n great shows to watch! one for my baby,man n wife, man n boy by tony parsons, the last juror,the chamber by john grisham, the time traveller's wife by audrey niffenger..... can't wait. they're all lying on my desk just begging to be read. but.. thou shalt not be tempted. i shall wait till my last paper ends before starting on them. haha. n its off to hk on the 28th.yay. can't wait. gotta do lots of stuff within the span of 2 days. hopefully i won't miss out anything while packing. and i mustn't forget the most impt thing. the tickets! i'm gonna go into a shopping frenzy there. been deprived for almost a year already. esther's super hyped up too. wait till u hear her theory of handing shopkeepers.. super rubbish-y i tell you. it goes like that.
1- if the shopkeeper doesn't give u the price u want, call him a fei ju[fat pig].
2- so the shopkeeper will start ranting n screaming at you. so u shout gao meng[help].
3- when the police come, say that u want to go to the jao dim[hotel]. but, the way she pronounces it sounds like shao din[burn down the shop], so they'll probably arrest her or something.
4- esther's gonna say ngo oi lei[i love you] n everything will be fine. cause according to her, love makes the world go round.

haha. i nearly rolled off the sofa laughing when i heard that... we're gonna have lots of fun!

i think the school system's screwed. the sch already called me on wed to ask y i wasn't going for the econs paper, and i told them that i had already dropped it[unofficially though.. but i didn't say that] yupz. so.. i thought they already knew that already and guess what?? they had to wake me up early early in the morning today at 8am! guess what time i slept?? 5am.. i had only 3 hrs of sleep.. this is so not funny. they asked me the same things again, like.. y aren't u in sch for the econs paper? have u dropped it? did u go for econs paper 3 last wed? i think the ans quite obvious right.. if i had gone for paper 3, i would be in sch right now.. unless of course, i felt so super discouraged n despondent after the exam that i decided to just not go for paper 1 n 2. anyway, i'm just pissed off that my sleep got interrupted....

div's tomorrow. can't wait..haha. it'll be all over soon.. i don't like ppl whose exams finish earlier than me. they get to play earlier.. no fair.

hm.... haven't blogged in here for a long time. been too bogged down with exams and all.well. i'm left with 3 papers.. div paper 2 n 3 and lit paper 5. maths was pretty ok.. lit paper 1 was ok except for the silas marner question.lit paper 8 was fine too..:) can't wait for my other papers to be over.. i skipped my econs paper n received a call from the school.. heard that it was pretty tough. anyway, its over. haha. clearing up my room now.. after each paper's over, i'll throw away my notes. for maths paper 1, i threw away 3 full bags of practice papers n all!! still have paper 2 notes to throw too.

can't wait for nov 28th.. finally, a long awaited deserved break to hk. ;) pretty hyped up about the trip now, esp since my exams are drawing to a close. i'll post up the pictures i've taken when i get back.. till then..

P.S: Weilin n Yvonne, don't forget me when u guys are in Taiwan k? haha..

GP today... argh...i can't believe that education didn't even come out! what a waste of my education quotes by aristotle and yeats. the essay was kinda screwed, as was the compre. did 'discuss the importance of religion in your society today.' don't really know how i'm gonna do. felt uneasy throughout the whole paper.. please God,please God..let me get my B3 and above for GP! really didn't expect such a hard paper esp for the essays. the questions were all pretty general so much so that studying for it didn't really help much. this is esp so cause i studied education,death penalty,social issues etc......how how how?

let's pray that the other papers will be much much better. next paper's on tues. maths c paper 1, here i come!!
